Following on from the theme of musical reinvention we saw with the RS-0 sound release recently, Puma have partnered with musical powerhouse Roland to create the Puma RS x Roland 2 piece capsule collection heavily influenced by the electronic instruments Roland creates.
The collaboration has delivered two new colorways of already iconic designs. The RS-0 and RS-100 have been re-engineered with premium leather uppers, red, orange and black tones on the formstrip and midsole with the RS-0 featuring a transclucent rubber sole. Inspired by the TR-808 drum machine and similar iconic components, we see “Bass Drum” and “Rhythm Composer” feature on the shoes themselves.
The collaboration clearly pushes the future-forward story behind their current set of RS-0 releases and introduces an interesting take on the merging of music with tech inspired footwear.
J rocks the RS-0 in black and orange/yellow accents, while C has the RS-100 on blast in red, yellow and orange accents.
